Welcome to my Substack!

My name is Aaron. I’m a second year MBA student at Chicago Booth.

I’m fascinated by moonshots — both in the historical sense of spaceflight, and in the more modern sense of projects which mature new technologies that could really change the world. I’m particularly intrigued by startups with this sort of potential.

NASA's Space Launch System launching Artemis I with a bright trail of flame.
During the pandemic, I worked on LunIR, a lunar flyby mission. LunIR, along with several other small satellites, was launched on the first SLS flight as part of NASA’s Artemis Program on 16 November 2022.

In fact, that’s the underlying thesis of my MBA; I’d like to move beyond building spacecraft, and start helping founders build startups.

This is my place online to write about ideas I encounter in and adjacent to these…spaces...

I’m deploying capital into student-run startups as a Managing Partner at Dorm Room Fund; if you’d like to hop on a call about this, feel free to pick a time on my Calendly!

I write on this Substack in a personal capacity.

I’m currently on the job market.

If you invest in startups, like my writing, and want to chat about possible opportunities, don’t hesitate to be in touch. The best way to get ahold of me at this time is via email:
